AMAXX ADVANCEMENT AWARD 2025

AMAXX will be giving away up to $2,000 in Trade School scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Brewster, Carmel, Dover and Pawling school districts!

Our  Mission

Amaxx is giving this scholarship to help encourage students to pursue careers in trades not only to address this workforce gap but also provide them with stable, well-paying job opportunities. By promoting trade education, we can ensure a robust future for our infrastructure and economy. This scholarship money is designed to help students along in their journey, roviding financial assistance for essential items such as boots, gloves, equipment, and other necessary tools. Supporting students in this way ensures they are well-equiped to secceed in their training and future careers.

Trade Jobs are Important

Trade jobs are vitalto the backbone of our economy, yet the industry faces a significant decline in participation. The U.S. Department of Education highlights a looming shortfall in infrastructure-related fields, projecting 68 percent more job openings in the next five years than there are trained individuals to fill them. Additionally, there are approximately 30 million jobs in the U.S. that offer an average salary of $55,000 per year and do not require a bachelor’s degree, according to the Georgetown Center on Education and the Workforce.
